the oil barge is slightly larger....like 4cc. ( but the AV handling makes up for that )

Must be the outboard clutch that makes the handling a little different. Better balance. Lol

A used 394/5 in good shape is about 500-600$. A 661 will run you a lot more than that. Parts are cheaper and easier to get than 661 as well. New 395's are also slightly cheaper than 661. I'm not made of money so how much a saw costs gets factored in with its overall performance. A ported 394/5 is cheaper than a new stock 661.

I would be happy with either saw honestly there both great saws. I'm very happy with my personal mastermind 395's have not ran a stronger saw yet (besides a mastermind 3120)
