Well she’s a ripper, throwin big ol chunks. Right through the eucalyptus just like I wanted. Only thing I didn’t like was it shut down, like it was running out of gas. I took off the gas cap to see and heard it suck air, maybe that had something to do with it not sure, I’ll keep an eye on it. Oh and the thing is heavy , a big boy toy fur sure:coleman:Thanks guys for all the feedback.

Well it’s the tank vent :(, I emptied the tank, and put a vacuum on the fuel line into the tank. Pumped to 5, no movement just held there. We will see hopefully they can send me a new one so I can throw it in. Was fun while it lasted;)

You can gut those vents and never have that problem again. Unbolt your AV mount springs and unhook your fuel line from carb so you can get enough tank play to remove the vent. The green end fitting pulls off, then use a drywall or wood screw that fits tight into the ID of the vent tube. Screw it in then give it a good pull with pliers. Once you have it out, use a stiff wire from the opposite end and poke out the guts. Reinstall the large sintered disc and leave out the white and black pieces. Then it’s ready to be pushed back into the tank. Of course you can just reinstall a new vent if you wish.

So I got it apart, Bruce said he will send a new one no prob but here are some pics of what I’m working with. The little piece on the end of the black hose should be enough, I think, as a filter. When I push it back in the hole it drops pressure into the zero on my vac gauge not just all the way. Maybe a half pound left, it’s like if I push it in as hard as I can the other end is hitting the case and won’t allow for it to drop pressure. Or it just get squished, I ran a vacuum straight through the vent filter it self and it drops soooooo idk. Just don’t want to get the new one and have same problem. And the new one is a week or more out. Thanks man

So I gutted it and there is a little white piece behind the filter. Must have been pressed in to tight with each piece by itself it’s is fine. Is the little white piece like a baffle? Weird man, guess I’m on the right track, thanks again so much for the intel I appreciate it. :beer-toast1:

Yup just put the bronze yellow filter part back in and that’s it. There’s another filter up in the airbox but leave that one in. You can toss the little white piece and the little rubber disc piece.
