the wa wa wa sound it makes in the cut means uneven chain stretch and aggresive chain or the wood is harder than my head.

I think it's a pretty good running saw as it is,probably tear down again and check piston wash to see how the transfers are doing.

I opened them all at once and flat,don't know if that's the best way but it's the way I did it. How do you open them @Mastermind ?

You'll need one to out run my 044 in "unported" form, even with my "slow" winged piston!

I feel the same way when I hear them discussing the model year changes in 262s. But I know they are good saws, so good for those who have the knowledge to keep track of it all.

Gonna make sure the rings are seated good before I tear it down. Hoping compression is 180,that's what it was shooting for anyway.

Checked it hot yesterday and it was 165
