View attachment 107542 One more better pic. See the fin that needs drilling
I see now. Mine were both oem cylinders. Bolt and run. The aftermarket stuff usually requires looking over. Both my oem cylinders required NO drilling whatsoever. Aftermarket isn’t all bad, just need to be inspected. Meteor and hyway are probably the best out of am.This is pic of both sides of meteor cylinder View attachment 107539
It’ll be just fine with those holes opened up. I would be confident using meteor stuff. This cylinder came as a kit from hlaupply. I will open up the two holes with care just big enough for head to fit through and use the two stock screws
Nope, just mix what you are going to use and run it.I. Would you mix first gas a little rich with oil or is that bad idea ?
50:1 is too lean on long cuts in a big saw like that. Use 40:1 with your oil of choice and run heck out of it.
The bottom end in my 372 was completely dry. Tree service runs 50:1 in there stuff. Bone dry inside. Why does the husqvarna international manual state 33:1 is recommended for 80cc+ saws?Have you seen damage at 50:1 Mason?

Adjust the low by turning it in till the saw lopes from being lean then back it out about 1/4 turn. Set the high speed on 395 to 12,500rpm or till it four strokes out of the cut and cleans up in the cut. Richer is safer than too lean. This will work on all your saws.I've always wanted to learn how to adjust a two cycle carb !! Ok I'm going to search for a how to on here. Your run the saw like normal till good and warm then adjust . Two screws a high and a low jet ? One for idle and one for high rpm ?
