372XPW vs 7900/10 vs ms460/1

Thank you for the recommendation,that goes a long way coming from you! I have been trying to study the old post and videos to determine who could put together a saw based on my needs. Kind of tough to ask around here due to the fact that all of you are friends! But I am getting mixed signals from you,is it get my 7910's ported or get a 461? (Seriously don't tell anyone that I ever said that, Blasphemy!!!)

Does Carl have a sticker? Cause that's all that really matters....

My 7900 just came back from a visit with Carl. He is first class and builds a mean saw.

For what it's worth I always enjoy running our 460's, very smooth power. Nice powerband. I love the sound they make with a gutted dual port. I also love the sound of 2 series huskys, I would love a hot 272

The 372xpw to me in stock form is a dog, there I said it. 7900 of all these listed stock would be my winner it has a non cat muffler and a higher coil/flywheel combo over the 7910. I do not know how they compare ported, I imagine they are all very close. To be honest I have never been a 372xp fan, I will take my 365 special over 1 any day. Jmo. I gave you all ammo so let me have it.

Ported the 7900 are the best mannered to me. Runs great and with a modded C3M or bigger carb they're easy to tune.

Get a 266 and you won't want a 272 any more

I ran a 461 the other day for the first time and was surprised at the torque it had. Out of these choices I would go with the 7900.

I'll be bringing 2 ported 460s with 046-D jugs to the NY GTG, you are welcome to give em a try, and I'd like to check out that 7910 of yours.
