Never ran a 372 but a stock Dolmar PS-7900 is pretty strong!

36" B&C full comp chisel is close to her limits.

I tend to tune her 100-200 rpm under the limiter (13.5k is max.) and she seems to like it.

Sounds like you guys also should have added the MS461 to the mix, about the same power & weight.

I don't own a 461, but I plan to bring my ported 460s there, and maybe get a Hybrid at the event.

Ive heard a 460 is faster for can't racing and a 461 is a better work saw with more torque. Is that true? Never ran a 461.

Stock, I think a 461 has more torque, but they are close. Ported, I think it depends on the porting work.

I think my ported 460s have pretty good torque.

My 460 in smaller stuff is faster. With 32 full comp and an 8 pin the 461 beat it by a second in a 25-30 second cut. I didn't think the bring the 7900 and run it with them[emoji20] the 2171 with a dominant piston was faster than the 460 and even with the 461.

A ported 460 is a real good time, I have truthfully never run a 461 stock or ported.

Apparently internal combustion devices are not allowed as carry-on. Complimentary boxing gloves are standard for United flights though.
