Swapping between 2 China carbs. The original one seems to have the tip forward issue only....which is remedied by leaning out the low screw.
The other carb seems hopeless. Can't lean it out enough and the idle cycles up and down whimsically. Stalls after a cut etc.
So the first carb seems to tune now...though its on the edge of being too lean on the low side. The high end is bang on perfect....so at this point I'm not worried. What a pain though. I become more and more convinced that if you are going to build saws you need to have a fantastic stash of spare parts to swap things otherwise the frustration level will be unbearable
