I'm using a small mount regular 3/8 7T on my echo (like Saw4fun does) and a picco chain with zero issues.

Im running a regular 3/8 rim for lp. Doesnt fit perfect

The issue is there, regardless if you notice it.

Running a Picco rim on a regular 3/8" rim is like using a sprocket that is wore well past its useful "life", and some doesn't notice that something is wrong before the rim falls apart...

People have different perceptions of what "is fine" or "runs fine".
