I think we abandoned ship at pressing cranks apart and putting them back together. Then, what do ya do with the extra mm of stroke?? Double?? Triple base gaskets?? I'm not up on my conversions, but I have to think a mm is about .080 ballpark?? Piston, meet squish band...play nice!

So, remembering Onan-Joe's statement about the 385 port shapes being better, does anyone have stock timing numbers handy for the 385 and 390 to compare?

I wonder where they got that idea.
Here we go. Lol I hate spring vibes cant keep av bushings in with the damn things.every ms361 ive seen front av bushing behind sping is worn out or missing. I will take rubber avs any day

1mm is a tad shy of 0.040"

Idk what to do with the extra stroke.

The idea was to take a 395 crank and turn the clutch side on the lathe to resemble a 385 pto end.
