I looked at the Mtronic Ver. I and there is no way you could flash new Software on the integrated ECU with SDS and the original Stihl Bluetooth Adapter.
But they changed the MDG1 in Germany and now it some folks say it has the ability to flash Software on Mtronic Ver. II ECUs.

It`s not possible yet, but there are rumors that it should be possible in the future.
if you could change the settings, what would you change?
Nothing. Port work and good combinations is where the magic happens IMO.if you could change the settings, what would you change?

The rumor I hear is they already have the replacement for the MDG1 (in Germany) and are working out details for a swap program with dealers that have the old version. If true, that should be kicking off soon.
End of Line???But there is also an End of Line mode in the Software. (its not available through the normal User Interface)
Why would you alter the rev limitation when it is already above the working range of the saw? What would be accomplished other than increasing the possibility of a blow up?
