I believe we are at something like 50% more than our average annual rainfall here. I’m tired of rain…….

We had lots of rain earlier this year. Stuff is pretty much brown after today’s heat.

Had the rains earlier in the year, but the last 2.5 months has been spotty to non-existent.
However it gets muggy as a m - fugger overnight the last couple of weeks, so not good for snoozing. At least IMO.
It's dry at the homestead and at the OOT place as well.

For folks coming in on Friday, I'll have a big pot of chili on the warmer to eat. Come Saturday morning will be a continental style breakfast, lunch will be pulled pork sammi's, cowboy baked beans and tater salad. There should be plenty of leftovers including my famous chili, for anyone staying later that gets hungry. Should have all the basics covered, so unless you happen to have a local regional treat to share, we should be in good shape.

Weather forecast is still holding good for Saturday, day, should be a great last day of summer, nighttime could be a different story. For anyone not staying at Shay B123, there's a car park that can hold a tent or two and room in the shop for a cot or two three. Let me know if you have any lodging concerns that I can help with.

I’m actually getting a bit sick of this 80-90 and 70-100% humidity but I know what may be in a few weeks so i guess we’ll have to deal a little longer. Could be -20 soon enough
