I did consider several other piston options. If I could do it again, I would probably try a meteor jonsered 630 piston (smaller bore 268xp), have someone cut a .040 popup or so and attempt to recreate Simonized’s 372 worksaw recipe on the 365 cylinder just out of curiosity.
Mason I'd like to run that simonized recipe if she ends up a ripper. I gotta get a few more tanks through the 365 I have and we can run em. I'll be able to hang on to the 365 through April so I can bring it.

For sure, your 365 is just a gasket delete and muffler mod right?

Eric, I plan to have 50, 60, 70, 77 and 90 cc saws ready to test against the competition! Preferably in hardwood!

I know there are lots of good runners in other flavors, but some of mine don't do too badly!

Dan was planning to have big round bales of hay this year instead of wood.

We should do a go fund me for sure. There is zero reason Dan should have to do all that work and pay for it as well.

I’m buying a new sauce pot for this event. I know most attendees are tired of hearing me *b-word about the sauce burning, and I can’t stand worrying about that, so I will be grabbing a biggun at the restaurant supply place on the way up with the food supplies.

The wife may be joining me this year, I’m not sure yet. Likely not because it’s my one weekend a year to spoon with @Canadian farm boy (the silver eagle).

Who’s bringing the beer?

@usmcbuckwild , you coming?

The menu will be the same. May bring an Octopus to grill. Gotta bring 30# of chopped meat this year as the Barrett Bro’s and Co. ate 10# of chopped meat on Friday night by themselves.

And @Lightning Performance Kenny, don’t cover my sauce pot!
I don’t what yer talking about Al...I ate Macdonalds the entire weekend...lmao!!!!

We’ll be there late Friday morning to help set up again. Can’t wait!

Name for your new saw?

I'm thinking about the only large Cat name that I have not used is the one used on that Vehicle that Ford used to own … and that may fit just fine!

They are very strong for their size!

No … the saw naming started with the Asian saws so no one would confuse them with OEM, then just kinda continued. I had always referred to my MOFO 026 as my Lightning Limber, so that one was a no brainer.

My 044 was German made, like my hunting knife, so PUMA just seemed to fit. The CFB Hybrid has Black Covers so it was obviously the Black Panther, etc.

I only have one Mustang now, so it just doesn't need a name. When I was single, I always had 2 or 3 at a time.
