Its been a while since I've been in here been flipping busy as all get up. So someone brings me a Stihl ms201tc today which more less out of my beeten path unfortunately I got talked into working on it and sucks to be me the darn thing was straight gassed so need a position and cylinder and ristpin bearing and was wondering is there any difference between the 201t and 201tc piston and cylinders or are they the same??

Piston and cylinder are the same between the MS 201T and 201TC.
Thank you that's all I needed to know. Hopefully nothing else is wrong with it sense it is a c model and I have no way of plugin in to the carb to toon the darn thing. Not a big fan I guess I'm to old school.:BangHead::beer-toast1:

Rather interesting that the C added to the same model number usually has no impact on the piston and cylinder. However, it has a huge impact on other parts. I found that out on a Stihl 441C M-tronic.

I don't the 201 TC is M-Tronic. I just worked on one and basically same as my 020T. The 201 choked the same.

The ms201tc I'm fixing is a m-tronic and they as far as I'm concerned can keep that m-tronic crap this will be the last m-tronic saw I will work on if I can't toon it with a screwdriver then don't bring it to me I'm going to have to fix this one and then take the darn thing to someone who can plug into it and set it up from there.and the one you fixed someone most likely put a 201tc recoil starter on a 201t lol they tricked you!!!:risas3:
