It's got a 28mm stroke and the rod is 50mm.

It looks like there are transfer covers that are glued on. I measured transfer heights at the cylinder wall but the transfer extensions come almost out to the wall and are at least a mm thick. So if I use those measurements my transfer heights go up quite a bit to 136-139 on the high sides.
Either way it looks like this saw has a blow down of 20-30 depending on how you measure.

So the question is do I mess with these ports at all or leave them alone. It's already apart so.....
Any thoughts?

$10 is a deal! I've been cleaning for an hour and I'm not done...
But anyways, inquiring minds want to know!!
Squish with gasket is .029
Gasket measures .016
Timing numbers
Ex 108
Ex transfers taper 129-123.5
In transfers raper 132.5-126
Intake to the divot in piston 76
Intake bottom of piston 69
Not sure how to figure the stratos? But it appears they push air or mix over to the transfer through the piston porting.

I widened the exhaust. Set squish and smoothed the transfers on one and didn't find a gain. Maybe it you really tweaked the numbers.

Now I give them 5 degrees ign advance. Remove vCard limiters and open the muffler. Worth it for the 15 minutes it takes. Digging Ito the motor is not worth it in my opinion.

I did open up the strato carb baffle before the carb. Other thought that saw was a little stronger.

I find it runs the strongest with the l side so lean it almost is idling too high any one else have that problem?

Also after I mod them the drum always spins so the spur isn't attached to the drum itself. Needs a tack weld.

Yes...after the ignition advance and muffler mod I usually find the idle around 3000-3200....I'm glad I'm not the only one. I find if I try to set the l any richer they don't idle very well, and don't spool up as fast.

So I sanded .006 out of the squish band to delete the gasket.

Then I roughed in the transfers to 124 straight across. I'm going for 15 blowdown per Randy's recommendation.
Then I went a little crazy beveling the port edges. Just got home and went to take a look and I may have fubared this cylinder.

Take a look at the bridges between the transfers. There isn't much left for the ring to ride on.
Is this going to be a problem?

David is sending me a good used jug so I can get back on track. If it was my saw I might try a few things but its not. I know there are big gains just muffler modding and advancing timing, so I'm going to set squish, do the muff mod and timing advance and move on to the 200t.
This jug is really small to work in, and I need more practice grinding.
