It was a downpour last year, but we still found plenty of time to cut stuff.

And good ole cottonwood cants this year?
Shaun? Shall we mill some? Have alaskan, will travel..

I would like to see a mill in action if it would work out

That's a lot of work with a chainsaw mill just to dice them up into nothing. I would think about free handing some but setting up the mill takes too much effort.

Free handing will work. I may bring a mill just for grins.. Will you have a square and chalk line handy?

I was more thinking a sacrificial 2x4 or 2x6 and some screws for a guide.

I'm coming mostly to catch up with people I wont see for another year. I guess, to drop a spinner off and sell a few Super Scrapers to those that want one... I probably won't even bring a saw besides Dolkivarna.

Is there an alternate way in from the paved road?

We will be in our Dodge van and want to avoid doing a 'Kenneth' in that soft spot.

He went down a low maintenance road didn't he? I drove a lowered VW Volkswagen last year there and had no issues staying on the proper gravel road.

Kenneth's GPS took him down a Level-B road 30mins away from Hoskey's place. Don't be worried, just come up the normal road.

sounds like a lot of work. Do we need more cants???

I can bring my 36" Alaskan and the Mini to make cants but my milling chains are far from sharpened and I broke my dripper last fall. I'm also still taking it easy on my shoulder... I might toss it in but I wont be up till Sat AM.

Too much work. Drive to IL and pick up Erics band mill I redid.

Or con him into coming to his first GTG and tell him to pull it along with him.
