Just picked up a 562 from a pawn shop. Decent looking 2011 model fired right up piss reved oiled. Made the deal.

Took it down to @Toad22t to test it out a couple weekends ago.

Fired right up, rap the throttle a couple time Wal over to the log attempt a cut soon as the chain hit the wood, started bogging out.

Wtf

Pull it out check fuel, good. Attempt to rev again just after half throttle it will bog out and eventually die.

Now it starts right up and will idle with the best of em. But would be nice to cut some wood.

Any idea before I start throwing parts at it? Or a general direction where to look?

Seems most other running issues have been low end bog/restart issues.

562's do not have problems. Also they are much more powerful than any other 60cc saw ever made. I read it on AS, so it must be true.

Guess it must just be something with the attitude...

Not a problem, the chain brake works. Could file both sides on the chain and have a sweet sounding hand saw.. :)

I'm not overly familiar with the 562, but I would check fuel filter & fuel line first. I know of saws that collapse the fuel line under full throttle, the lines go bad due to the ethanol in the fuel (especially if someone put an AM line on it).

Could also be dirt in the carb, but always check the simple things first.

Is the air filter OK?

Also, make sure there are no electrical shorts when the motor torques.

Best of luck, they are good saws.

I know this sounds stupid. But are your carb bolts loose. Local husky tech told me to check mine along with lines.

I'll check that and the filter. Then make a list to try an order all the parts at once.

Anybody confirm this saw uses the same sealed bearing the 346 uses?

It hasn't gotten the the bench yet. Was really wanting to run it stock. That may not happen.
562 has gone through 3 different carbs. el44 first, el46 second and now an el48. Let me know which one you have and I will contact local tech and ask him again. I know we talked about this problem.

I'll check in the am, thank you.
It's not to late! Just wait until you stop back by again and do it. Dont worry I'll wait until you leave before I go and pick it back up. Lol

Lol, hopefully it will be a runner by then.
I would try to fix the issue first before you dig right into it.

Well if everything is new what is left to go wrong lol.

^^ That is what I am hoping to aviod.

I'll try a couple simple things first.
