Bored too, I would presume? I'm a little rusty here. Been quite some time I played with V8s, and never did play with the Fords. Just stock stuff. Most I ever had was a 460 in my 96. She's gettin a 6.7l 12v Cummins in the near future.
The 460 and C6 will be up for sail when I start rippin it all apart.
If that C6 is a F250 4X4 application keep me in the loop. Thank you sir.

I'd like to help ya out Randy. But the only 2WD spare I have is a 351-400M. I'm always poking around and I'll keep you in mind Boss. Thx.

I'm seeking a C6 with a Windsor pattern. Two wheel drive for me.

Any c6 for a 300 or 302 will fit also. All the way up till 96 when they quit the c6. Of course the c6 was a rare option after 92.

How about a 2jz swap.
Get your fast and furious on.
It will be a 9 second truck for sure as long as you put some silly azz graphics on it.

If we are doing any damn engine swaps it will be an Allis Chalmers 301 turbo/intercooled diesel. Would do a 426 but they demand a lot more money.

What about a 4.0L Barra 6 Turbo for this non-existent engine swap project? I can send you a whole car for a couple hundred, shipping extra. :p

Took you long enough to get back here! :D
I’ve been reading, but haven’t wanted to make a dumb*ss comment! lol though about it though! I am battling many similar decisions with my 81 square call mom 305 fantastic mileage and runs like a top, just doesn’t have tons of top and Power has a decent low end, for what it is. Have a vortec 350 Marine crate motor, that is carb to pan with all accessories , only has 20,000 miles, and has 300hp, and have a Vortech centrifugal supercharger set up for a small block, So many options….So I have definitely rattles around the same things that you have. And it would be nice to have more power, but a nice reliable daily is pretty nice the older you get! LOLActually at any age a good reliable daily it’s pretty awesome! You just appreciate it more the older you get! LOL Plus I already have a hot rod…lol

Mine is a 4X4 application from the 460. Was the best damn work truck I ever had.

timg the trans was rebuilt and has fairly low mileage on it. Done over in 2000. Sat for a year and then drove it until 06.
One of the pan bolts may have had helicoil in the case. I don't recall. Sealed up good at the trans shop. The BW t-case will be up for grabs too. I'm switching to a NP205. You're in my state I believe?

In my treads, dumbazz comments are welcome and encouraged! LoL!

Yup, reliable not have to tinker daily is what I'm after in this build. Been pretty problem free so far since the frame build. Hope to keep it that way.
