There is an 80-86 style short box 4x4 I have me eye on. Not sure if its up fir sale though. I should stop and ask lol. Its setting in a side lot at a place called Mr. Axle where they normally do sell used rigs but it has no sign on it.

They used to specialize in CV axles but I believe they do all repairs now.

Port n polish on that head with a header to make her breath? A little lump in cam change? Don't forget the bigger valves.
At that point with your EFI, ECM, and trans upgrades ..... you're gonna need ladder/wheelie bars and slicks.

Style wise anyway. I prefer the components of the non full time 4x4 68-79 series. I like the look too but prefer the bull nose probably because my brother bought an 83 new and I grew up around it.

That's what turns me off on your body style is the dash. I do like the exterior. Front end looks more manly than mine.

Looks pretty damn close to the interior of an 83 GMC 3500 to me. I never knew them older Fords had column-mounted ignitions.
