All the fuel floats to the top of the tank cause they are used to being upside down![]()
Call me Joe, how about you "brewz"?jb, there are always 084's for sale here.
Its why I dont feel too concerned with adding one to the stable. There is always another should a bloke need one for parts.
have you been to oz before?
Hi tony! By liney do you mean the chaps working up the poles and towers? My old man does that, I'm the one in the family not "on he tools" if you like, always wondered if Itd still be just as easy getting a job over thereHi Joe
I am Tony and a fellow sparkie.
I work in control system engineering in the mining industry these days.
You will love it here!
Plenty of work for lineys in south Australia at the moment, they just had a lot of their power grid blown over by massive storms and tornado's
Geez, a couple of major transmission lines fall over, there is a little blackout, a couple of trees blow down and a few creeks flood and everyone acts like its a big deal.

Anyway..... back on topic. There are postmen all over the world.
Will contact him over weekend. Only saw them briefly in a top shelf.
As long as you cant take a good ribbing and give it back in spades with a smile, you will be OK.
Do expect to be ribbed about being a winging pom though. Its a convict thing
Just remember that we give our mates (friends) a harder time than we do our enemy.
Australia was built on hard land, hard work and hard times and we tend to run on a "if you don't laugh you cry" attitude.
When you get here, get out bush, smell the smells, close your eyes and listen to it.
Just mind the snakes and spiders cause they will kill you given the chance![]()
Sounds like a regular day at work for me! I think I'll get along with all you dingo *f-worders just fine
Just need to convince the Mrs now, maybe I'll tell her something like "the wage is so much better I'll be able to buy you A new car" etc etc. Mind you I don't think that'll work, she's always been one to earn her own money. And I'm sure she'd get a decent job over there, she's a college teacher currently
Sounds like my kinda place! Good meat, good women and hard woodWe don't touch the Dingo's..... the women are too damn nice!
We do shoot dingo's, as well as most everything else, and you can buy the animals on our national emblem at the supermarket for dinner.
We have sand on our beaches
We have sunshine most of the time
We are a friendly fun bunch of people.
We also have filthy hard wood filled with termite dirt and designed by some cruel bastard to break saws and dull chains in less than a tank of fuel.
At least in July it will be Winter and you wont cook in the 40*C+ heat
Sounds pretty similar to the UK then! I'm not too clued up on Australian geography to say the least, how far is that from Melbourne? That's where we'd most likely be going as the FIL lives there, and I have no doubt the Mrs would want to be nearbyForget guns
I am selling all mine, its just too hard thanks to laws that punish law abiding citizens and let criminals do as they will.
The cockhead that introduced them was given an honery doctorate today. I hope he chokes on it.
If you want guns, move to NZ. They can have semi auto's and silencers and there are not mass murders there???????
I am in NSW, hunter valley region just north of Sydney
