Don't feel bad about it .Myself and another guy tied for the most disquals at Chardon Ohio one year . Fact just last week I watched a segment of the Stihl timber sports and those guys have a time of it every so often too .The only people who don't screw up are armchair quarter backs .Quick to judge, never get off their butts to prove it .

QFT....It is not as easy as it looks; and very difficult to be consistently exceptional at it. Regardless, that is still one of the funniest videos I have seen in awhile.

The fastest 3 over the wood I ever did was 6 flat with my stock 084 .With Kevins it was 4 flat .Using his own saw his time was 3.6 . Pa GTG near Meadville Pa several years back . I think it was 10 inch stuff .

10x10 yellow poplar not pine. pine makes stock saws look fast too. ;)

Poplar is a lot nicer at least at the GTG I've been to where it is fresh and nearly knot-free.
It has a really nice uniformity that makes it great for racing.
Its crazy how hard a knot can be and how much it can slow down a cut.
I figure the extra practice wont hurt me and it gives me some saw time, which I really don't get much of these days.
I'm sure I wont ever get to legendary chainsaw rockstar status but if I improve enough to talk a little smack now and then I will be happy.
