Soo, i picked up another cheap score. Was at the local stihl shop looking for more rs square grind and there is a 28" es light setting there and i ask how much. After a few min and him digging thru a bunch of other bars he says its in his system as a regular es bar, 84.95.. i say SOLD and snatched that bad boy up, threw some cash his direction and got the hell outta there!! Hehe!! Kinda stoked on that one. I have a 24" es light and love it. This 28" will be perfect for the new 066
Better buy a lotto ticket another you suck post.

Saw looks to be a shorcase which most prefer, less case volume, almost certainly would have had a Mahle thick base cylinder, again very good news, red lever means little, they just go better on a red light edition. This should have the better coil already as well, easily a 900.00 saw to me, and the chick might be the best I have seen at taking it up a few notches of cruelty, tip my hat to her, she is very good.lol

Picked up the 066 this weekend and have to say i am very happy about my 500$ investment :) :) :) after giving it a quick bath, it appears it is in great condition. Only "issues" i have found so far, the inner dog was a little loose, and the tips of the dogs are slightly corroded. But those will clean up as soon as i stuff em in a few trees.
One question for ya all, did these saws with the larger clutch cover and dual dogs come with the roller chain catch also? If so, i am missing the roller. There is zero evidence on the saw from it ever throwing a chain which is sweet.
It also hasnt been started since the day my friend picked it up for me. I grabbed it, 2 pulls on full choke and it popped, one pull on run and she was purring like an angry kitten. I likes! :) havnt put a gauge on it yet but compression is strong. Got a new plug and filter on the way for it.
Didnt play with the mill much yet, but it appeared everything should be there to murder some wood. Haha

IMG_0575.JPG IMG_0585.JPG None of the pics i took of the back of the cylinder turned out, but it looked as clean as the side of the piston does.
