I've decided I'd like to build myself a Stihl 064 or short cased 066. Really prefer an 064. I don't care if it's disassembled or complete. Running or not. Doesn't have to be a beauty queen but repairable and not beat to death. No broken or cracked cases please.

Thank you

I might have one. What is your price range for a complete OEM one? P/C looks good. No sure if it runs?

The gentleman said it was his fathers and it got hard to start. They took it to a local dealer and the dealer told them it needed a piston. I have heard this before but in this case the top end is toast. The parts that I know of that are missing are one top cover screw, a muffler bolt, and the muffler heat shield.

I can put a 064 project together…have most of the parts.
Well, pulled a couple of the 1122 bins down today…been a while…
For 064s, I don’t have but 1 complete saw and a semi complete second. 🙄
I plan on building just one of these.
Other than that, a bunch of misc parts like AVs, trigger covers, boots, clutch drums, cranks, bearings, early filter covers including winter versions and the metal ones, recoils, oil pumps, throttle links, the orange portion of tanks, 5 case pairs and a couple halves. I got a pile of carcasses quite some time back and since none were anywhere near complete saws I stripped them down, kept what was usable and pitched the unrepairable junk.
My bad…

Same story for 066s and 1128 stuff.
