You can use the screen and needle from that kit, but everything else is no dice. It's good to order a few since it's cheap and needles/screens don't come in the gasket kit.

Not all... a good majority came with a Walbro I believe.

I know mine has a Bing and came with a limited coil, not sure if those are related somehow?


Carb seems sportier than a Walbro when I swapped them onto a Stock 064.

Walbro is nice for kit though lol

Mine came today as well. I have 3 spares and 2 Huztl needles just in case. Darn Bing carbs...

Acquired a WJ-10a and installed it. Fired right up. Tuned it to 12,500. Had no wood to tune in.

What should a stock 064 idle and max rpm's be adjusted too?

Obviously 4-stroking and other tuning signs intact... but I'm sure others will say I'm wrong...

The walbro wj10 or the tillotson hs320 run the best on 064 066 660 imo there both a pre epa carb and kits are easy to find.

Im allmost positive a wj69 is a limited carb is a disadvantage. Were wj10 was pre epa.i heard stihl was spose to throw them away. When they made the change.

69 has jets that are screw in. Easy to fix that. None of the WJ are limited that I knnowof besides the limiter screws that takes 30 seconds to defeat.
