064 ground contact/lever issue

G'day all, just put an NOS 066 tank on my 064, fits well, having an issue getting the control lever to work with the ground pivot thing that connects to coil

The metal pivot keeps going under the control shaft, or it jams and won't contact the ground crimp

Any suggestions?

It worked fine, now it's being a pig

Got two control levers and two pivots, neither working

Looking at another scrap tank, the pivot post it sits on has two holes on new tank, one hole on older tank, thought I got it right but I'll try again in other hole

Yeah, I'm a dick, the forward hole isn't the one, works fine in other spot

Note to self, focus on job in hand, not week ahead!

Age-old mistake of wrong hole.
