I tried that but it won't be bend that far without a big ugly kink so instead of a ugly one off muffler I built a spacer so any muffler can be used.J, in the thread I quoted earlier, the guy said to just heat the muffler and bend it....
"To use the 064 muffler you had to heat it with a torch and bend it downwards and then it would bolt on like stock."
Might save you some extra work...
Make sure you cut the right wood !!!!

My saw is almost 2k faster in the video and with a short bar that's a big advantage, 32" 404 will be different. The 056 really never revved like an 066 out of the box did it ? Maybe asking too much in the rev dept on the 066 bottom end ?
That's a good worksaw combo out here .My saw is almost 2k faster in the video and with a short bar that's a big advantage, 32" 404 will be different.

It will go faster but it won't get neer 15k
Like the 066. The 066 is a beast also, not a great saw for comparison.
I could probably put a 10pin on the 56 and even it up some.
It has lots of grunt
I got stuck on a tractor and didn'tget a chance to run it.Treat me like I'm from Missouri: Please Show Me. [emoji41]

Which saw is which?I had a short bar race with my saw and I put a good wackin on the 056 with a 20 and a 9pin but mine will tune almost 2k faster and is freaky strong.
I'm going to have the long bar race now and I bet it's a lot closer.
Here's the short bar
2 mm bigger bore should run a little higher ex anyway. It should gain, how far you gunna take it?I got stuck on a tractor and didn'tget a chance to run it.
First thing in the morning
I need to find some rpm ,may have to raise the exhaust
I think the timing is good but it's gonna need more carb to be stronger than the 066 that has the same carb and boot.2 mm bigger bore should run a little higher ex anyway. It should gain, how far you gunna take it?
