I bought this on Ebay one day in a frenzy: https://www.ebay.com/itm/135278419222
I posted in the parts forum, and with the help of @Woodwackr I acquired an OEM 036 jug for it. Little bit of transfer, but cleaned up nicely without a sign.
Base gasket deleted, running at 0.017" squish. A bit tighter than I've ran others... Feels like it has massive compression.
Top cover cut cleanly to fit the bigger jug, decomp plugged. New Meteor piston kit. Bearings felt good and tight.
If you want the retro Farm Boss 20" 3/8 bar, let me know. I will either install or include crank seals with it (doesn't seem to need them though).
I have only ran this for about 15 minutes since putting it together, blipping the throttle and a bit of idling. Still needs to break in, but idles well and throttle response is quick.
I am thinking $450 plus shipping PHO. I have $350 into it, just hoping to recover expenses and some of my time into it.
If you have interesting trades, let me know. (Ported 026, 2- and 3-series Husky's, 90's Stuff...)
