World on fire

My wishes and prayers to members from California. Just read that there’s heavy fire there.
Due to my country’s recent Fires i can fully sympathize.

I’m in Northern Ca. and the Carr fire is getting really close to us... we had some good friends lose their house a couple days ago. We are getting ready to evacuate within the next day or two, if need be.

So far, 5 fatalities, hundreds of homes lost, and thousands of people displaced, due to the carelessness of one individual.

Sweden is on fire as well. It is a tinder box here. They have even put into force a total bbq ban including propane even in private backyards.

Sad too these fires The last I saw on our news it was 20,000 acres but hell that has grown , now I hope the weather changes and you have rain , or the wind direction changes and blows it back onto the already burnt lands

I saw you had fires breaking out , we have had a few but luckily they’ve been contained too only a small acreage

Feel really sorry for those losses. In Greece we have already 88dead, more than than “missing” and double at hospitals.
And all victims of urban area. Victims of preparation and coordination foolishness from government mainly.

The long term forecast is showing 110 degree + temps for the next several days.

I woke up this morning to no power. The town of Lewiston CA is under evacuation... they are only about 5 miles east of us. We are packing up today and probably headed to the coast.

Flat tire on a trailer. He drove for several miles on the rim before stopping. So I guess it was an accident...

Power back on for now... watching the news and see that someone else has died. I guess they decided not to evacuate, and burned up.

Yeah it’s f*cked. CalFire just ordered mandatory evacuations for Lewiston. We are about 5 miles due west. We’re packed up and ready... we may have to get out in the next day or two.
