I've noticed a little of that too in my MMWS261. What's your recommendation for a new oil?
I've been using Amsoil Dominator with great results. My 357XP still drools a little, but I've got it tuned a little fat (and it's still spinning 14500)

I reckon so

Same ratio you recommended, 40:1?

Randy, one more question and I'll leave you alone.
Can I use the Dominator and the same ratio in my other 2T(20-30cc) and Stihl 4-mix stuff??

Randy, I ran 3 gallons of RA at 25:1 and didn’t get any goo, but I was running 1 oz. per gallon of Techron in the fuel, 87 non ethanol. Matter of fact I ran 2 gallons of Dominator at 25:1 and didn’t get any goo there either, same thing 87 non ethanol with 1 oz. per gallon Techron.

I'll try that.

I will try Dominator in all my saws and see how I like it. Thankyou for the recommendation. I do not want goop all over everything. That is why I asked for help in the first place.

It's your oil mate. You've started a movement.
What? A movement well they a bit late to the party by way over 20 years.
If it doesn't say Ative or Garden on the bottle I wouldn't even put it on my morning toast lol

But in all seriousness I'll look around if I can get a bottle (maybe if I could be bothered) and see if it's anything the same as Ative or Garden.

Saber at 40:1 will foul plugs and leave drool behind if not tuned just right.
I do find if I idle alot it will while moving stuff around it will do that . Once full revs it clears. I've done almost 2 litres of amsoil ( not sure what that is in ounce ) and everything looks pretty good compared to some oil I've run in the past

Chainsaws have a separate oil tank which is empty every time I spend a full tank of pump fuel!
That indicates the saw mixes its own fuel and spends as much oil as it needs - less oil when idling, more oil on WOT. :)
