Should be.Is this discount code still good?
I realize that I am a little late to this game.
I know I was afraid of that as well. Trust me it's not anything to be concerned with. The only reason why I haven't bought one was because the Timberline does not allow for the 10% upward angle for the Stihl chains.
Thanks. I'd seen about being careful with the cutters. I just wondered how they were holding up long term for everyone. My old Granberg is getting tired.I really like mine and I use it a lot more than I thought I would.
If you buy one at least get an extra bit for your most used chain size.
The carbides are brittle so don't force it or they will break/chip.
A friend of mine got one before I did so I learned from his mistakes. I haven't had a single problem....knock on wood.
Can't speak for the long term but I don't foresee many issues. All the wear parts are replaceable.Thanks. I'd seen about being careful with the cutters. I just wondered how they were holding up long term for everyone. My old Granberg is getting tired.
Thanks. Your 2" lumberjack chest hair is a good comparison.I'm totally digging mine, used almost exclusively on Stihl chain. Sharpened 2 chains yesterday. Not sure what I hit, but the 562 went from cutting great, to spewing powder. Put the Timberline to work, and noodling a maple, I was getting noodles as long as my... well, they were pretty long.
I thought one but e sets of cutters turns me off.325 3/8 amd picco.i decided to persoally hand file and after 3 sharpens by hand filling i true them chains up on fourth sharpen on ny. Electric sharpener then at that sharpen i do rakers.
