I'd say 7/32 till you get back on the cutter. Like I mentioned, when you get far back the trick becomes maintaining proper hook and a smaller size carbide helps tremendously! So you can easily get away with using the 13/64. :)

I got mine yesterday. :aplastao:
I have used it not today on a few chains.....and I am really digging this thing. I am very happy I bought it. I will need to order more cutters. I got one extra when I ordered the kit. Now I'll order extras.

I dug mine out after having it ditched for a few years,, not sure I didnt like it B4, got it to work great on a .325.
The price offered here is excellent!!! Trust me, in Canada they are the price of a good used saw!!

As I am using this tool more I think it does a much better job on Oregon chain than Stihl. I am wondering if it is because of the hardness of the Stihl chain.

Are you using different cutters for Stihl and Oregon? The Stihl takes a slightly different size, at least for 3/8" chain.

Do they have an option for 404 and carbide tipped chains?

They recommend the 7/32" bit for .404. I don't run .404 so I can't comment on how well it works.

What file size would you normally use ?

Carbide chain IDK????

All my 404 chains are carbide tipped and are normally sharpened with a diamond wheel.

Is this discount code still good?
I realize that I am a little late to this game.
