BTW- The 4 pack of bits on eBay are very nice quality. Made in USA and you basically get 1 free. It's a good deal if you want a bit in each size.

Search "timberline carbide". I think it's the only 4 pack offered. I don't think they're from timberline.

Just make sure they're not going to charge you $7.50 each for shipping, in that case the first one is a better deal.

Edit: Actually the first link is the better deal if you want 4.

you will save 80 cents if buy the 4 pack but if you dont use all the sizes then it would be better to do the select your own size

Cutters through Timberline are $20 with I think 2.60 shipping.
The link I posted is $14 + 7.50, so 21.50. A whopping $1.10 saving. I'd rather get an original and support the Timberline guy. I hate when people over charge for shipping. Auction states small flat rate priority box, which is 6.80.

i didnt notice til wolverine said something but they are not a original timberline cutter says same quality and same specs so ill pass on those knockoffs also .

I may be wrong but I believe the cutters are a stock item that is not made by or built specifically for timberline.

Well sheet, I figured that was the one downfall of the unit. Proprietary cutters. If he quits make'n 'em, we're screwed.

I looked around some and haven't had any luck. I do have the set from eBay and they are nice quality made in USA bits as I said before. If you don't need every size it's not a good deal but for me it was.

Guess I gonna have to dig mine out,, sitting for 3 years,,tried it out and went back to my Pferd and Stihl.
Maybe being left handed has something to do with it,,,,
