Thanks for the updated information. Are the O-rings flat or round?

If you go with anything other than OEM make sure to consider the ethanol factor with whatever you get.

I tried 3.5 by 25 but it seemed to me the 3 by 27 worked better .At any rate they don't leak .For that matter if you did the conversion I suppose SAE sizes might work also .
On the subject if a person is not familiar with o-rings you cannot believe how many sizes they come in .Those goofy Germans are famous for oddball sizes I suppose in order to make things so it's it's difficult finding parts other than OEM ---don't get me started on that BS . Mumble grumble .

Looks like the 024 is up and running again. She had a vacuum leak somewhere around the carb and impulse line fitting. The saw held pressure and vacuum just fine so I decided to give the carb and impulse line a little help with Permatex Number 2 sealant. This is a gooey sealant that dries semi-hard and has good fuel and oil resistance. That done, the 024 fired right up.

Don't know when I'll have a chance to give it a proper test. Still got almost two weeks of rifle season to go and muzzleloader in December. Feels good to know it is coming around though. Anybody know how to shorten the chain? I have an 18" bar on it currently which I am going to swap for a 16" with another member.

Glad you got this saw figured out. [emoji106]
Chains are cheap enough to just buy what you need, new. Correct size to fit your bar.
