Some of this stuff works and some doesn't .Depends on what it is and were it's used .I once used some epoxy inside of a block of a John-Deere A below the ring travel .Some idiot tried pulling it down the road at 30 MPH to unstick a stuck engine and wrapped the rod around the crank like a pretzel and broke the bottom of one cylinder out .It also pulled the piston in two right at the pin .I welded the piece back in using pure nickle rod and it had some slight imperfections so thus the epoxy .That was over 35 years ago and still no problems I'm aware of .
Something like that I would feel okay with using .In the ring travel or a cylinder head I would not . BTW my favorite solvent is acetone .

To repair a quarter sized hole in a 362 fuel tank and the entire back half of the clutch cover. (Strictly did the repair for science) has held up for about a gal and a half of mix so far.

Didn't have any jb or marine tex on hand, but this stuff is holding up darn good.
