I've used JB Weld in a metric chit ton of intake ports......and have yet to hear about a failure.
That's FANTASTIC to hear. I've wondered but didn't want to ask ;)

Personally, I'm a huge fan of JBWeld, just chicken to use it inside a cylinder. I have used it to repair a 2-stroke quad crankcase that had a rod go through the bottom of the case. I used it to repair another quad engine where the chain took a chunk out of the case. I have used it on the exterior of chainsaw cylinders where I have ground through either the transfer or intake. On my personal 390XP, I even have it on my exhaust port where I went too wide. It was applied to the outside but is exposed to the inside of the port. It has never burned through!!!

I have never seen it fail WHEN APPLIED CORRECTLY. The surface should be rough and must be PERFECTLY clean.

FYI, JB Weld now sells a black plastic welder product that looks and smells like Devcon and the Permatex product I used. Probably going to try it on another Glock grip here soon.
