I'm a Stout guy. I don't like the hoppy taste of ipa's so I know what you mean there. I like my beer black. I hadn't touched whiskey in awhile.

Got some stouts for Christmas. They’re respectable. I can get down with that. The ipa. Not so much.

If you’re not down with the hops, try a cream stout, or a bock, or a nut brown ale, scotch ale, or marzen/Oktoberfest.

Lots of flavor but not so bitter.

Left hand brewing Milk stout is a good smooth one.

@T.Roller you would probably like this barrel aged stout it’s dark and at 11.2% alcohol content...at the pub they can only serve it in a wine glass by law.lol

Yes sir I bet it's awesome! Old Rasputen is also up over 10% and very good. We don't need wine glasses here tho haha

Our brew crew a couple weeks ago. We made two five gallon all grain batches for a local brewer tap take over at one of the local brew pubs. One batch of a Black Lager and a batch of Oatmeal Blonde.

Tap takeover is September 1st in the little sleepy town of Pomeroy, Ohio at Maplelawn Brewery.

Yup, brewhouse is a SimaTec BrewOne from Italia, 12HL. 4 pressurizable tanks, 1500l each, a 120l Hop Gun and a Isobaric bottle filler.

Only have the chance to use this 4 times, 1st beer will be released next week.

What's the recipe? I bottled 60l of my first homemade Brut IPA this morning, I used the bottling machine from the big brewery, I'm gonna taste it in a few hours.
