I'm a big fan of craft beers, mostly porters, and stouts. I enjoy finding new ones I haven't tried and talking to others about their favorites. Here's one I found today, Green Man Dweller, and it's amazing! Feel free to share your pics and or comments.

There are actually about 10 micro breweries within 45 minutes from here that popped up all in the last 5-7 years. Is it like that all over or just around here?

There are a few on Chattanooga. All make great beer!

Yes Ashville is full of breweries, most have excellent beers too.

Highland is one of my favorite breweries. I like all their stouts and porters. Top notch beer

Edmund Fitzgerald is a great beer. The chocolate Porter that Bell's from Michigan has is great

The Bells us great. I like a lot of left hands beers.

I like dark wheat beer. Tucher Dunkel, from Germany is my all time favorite.
I've tried a number of domestic wheat beers but haven't found one that comes close to the German beer. I'm sure there are good ones out there, I just haven't found them.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Rohrbach brewery in Rochester NY has some great beers and awesome food. I like a blueberry ale with a Reuben and hot tater salad.

Best beer I ever had was from Carlyle Brewery in Rockford, IL it was a black walnut stout. And if you want they put a little vanilla cream ale on the top but not necessary

That sounds awesome. I tried a Good Wood Bourbon Barrel stout the other day. Two thumbs up!

The winery by Jason has an awesome vanilla stout. Looks like drain motor oil as Jason said but tastes awesome

Yeah I wouldn't want to knock down six of them but once in a while I'll grab one. We have a store in town that has shelves full of craft beer.
