Hi

Got myself a very rough 064 from my father's friend who passed away.

I was thinking to keep it for parts but being in this forum with all you guys got me in a rather strange idea.

Gonna built this saw with as little new or replaced parts as possible just enough to make it live again as it did for decades. I m sure most of the people would have gone the other way to put NEW or NOS parts.
Myself I wanna keep it THIS SPECIFIC SAW as a tribute to my father's friend. At least for now may change this while on it.

The saw was off due to ignition coil i was told. But the picture i ve got once I took it was dirt, heavy use, the dirtiest muffler i ever saw full of ashes etc.

This build gonna take long it's no rush as money and time are not the best at the moment

So let's have a look...

Red lever 064

Started cleaning and rubbing by hand only using Stihl Ultra Clean on parts and plastics...i know it's kind of loosing time and getting tired but again it's an emotional reason to handmade as much as possible

One of the dirtiest mufflers ever seen and the deflector seems rather weird the chainsaws you guys have are different. Seems too small to modify
