Not having ever come across one before I snagged this off evilbay.
It had achieved high milage with little mix oil or just plain straight gassed.
It’s an early production with a one piece flywheel/starter cover. It’s necessary to remove the wrap handle to get that off.
Remove the handle cover from the wrap and put it back so the guts stay put.
Anything past a spark plug, fuel filter or air filter requires engine removal from the plastic case.
Stihl version of a little red Homie XL complete with reed valve. [emoji15]
Lots of piston skirt worn off.
Them untouched ‘pads’ are .005” above surrounding skirt. [emoji2960]
With the carb in front and air filter in the rear a long plastic duct connects the two.
Them Krauts are problem solvers for sure. [emoji849]
