Some nice old straight edge knives there. [emoji106]
Sad, but barbers are becoming hard to find these days.

1031171547.jpg the top three are moore makers made in texas large trapper, med stockman, large stockman, d2 carbon.middle left is a hen and rooster large sow belly, stainless, bottom left is a gec sodbuster better then a case by far its 01 tool steel, large case trapper carbon steel, then an old ja henkel carbon steel.i love traditional carbon steel knives better then stainless,m.its easier to sharpen, stays sharper longer, gets a sharper edge as well.

Thanks bud. I bunch back and forth between these and saws
Not a bad thing.i do saws, Custom fishing. Rods, lure making, and things that go bang.i may be interested in a fixed blade skinnner if interested preferably carbon like an old leaf spring if interested.

. Sure I could do you one. But it’ll be cut from flat stock 1095 hi-carbon or 0-1 tool steel. I’m building a propane forge for everything else just haven’t finished it yet

Lol dont let certain people see that you will be shunned.i love 1095 and 01 my 2 favs. Piss on stainless.
Lol I hear ya. I don’t know what I did but didn’t notice it till I saw it posted. Yeah 1095&0-1 are of the easiest I can do everything at home myself. I’ve sent a few cpm3v blades off to be treated and it gets pricey. Yeah I don’t really care for stainless

What would you charge for a skinner like the one you posted 4 to 5 in full tang in 01 or 1095
