It does take both of those things!I have everything I need to hand load, everything but the time and ambition
Interesting, I wouldn't have thought factory loads would be so inaccurate. I've been wondering if its me not getting steady enough when shooting 200-300yds, it probably is to some extent.100 yds.
Hand loading makes a huge difference in this gun (if you neck size only). The chamber must be a bit large. When I neck size only 1 less round fits in the clip!
Accuracy goes up by a bunch!
I'll bet if I fed it factory ammo I would not be impressed with it at all!
Right on!
Nice rig. Shawn makes fine barrels for sure and a heck of a nice guy. She’s not but he is?
.260 Regular
R700 Printed with a PTG bolt.
Hawk Hill 1:8 .264”
McCheese HTG(?)
Badger Base & bottom metal.
The barrel is going on a diet: I’ve already had it cut from 26” to 24”. There is a wizard who claims he can flute it without causing the groups to grow: we’ll see.
It’s had an NXS & a Razor gen II on it also but probably NX8 will Be it’s forever scope.

.243 next to .223's
I don’t have much to offer on this thread...but I did just get my scope dialed in on my 450 bushmaster. Shoots good!

450 bushmaster. Think it’s .452
It’s a ruger. It’s sighted in for 150 currently. Never really shot anything over that before. I move around a little to much.My bad I read your post wrong I guess it did say. I saw 450 and thought yardage that it was sited in for. What kind of rifle? It lools like a Thompson.

Be careful around the .17 Rem it can be very addicting! I know I have 3 only because I was stupid and sold one or I'd still have 4.Dad has a 17 Rem, love that round

I did get to put a few rounds through a .50. That is a sweet shootin gun.
Haha...you're right...it wasn't pretty. Took some strategic positioning to make him look good for the picture. I believe I used a Berger 105g hybrid...shot was around 600 yards.I can't believe that little guy is still in one piece, what bullet?
