Thanks. I made this belt out of a piece of leather so it'll need to be replaced soon. I bought this lathe from an auction with another shorter 9A for $425 . I thought it was a deal. Lol
This used to be worn out and abused.
My brother brought her back to life. This thing was in 10,000 pieces. I can't believe he actually got it back together
wow .

I'm very impressed with the glued belt (blue )Thanks. I made this belt out of a piece of leather so it'll need to be replaced soon. I bought this lathe from an auction with another shorter 9A for $425 . I thought it was a deal. Lol
I was leery of the glued one, but my curiosity got the better of me. It's still strange not hearing the cleats and pin slapping the pulleys, as the blue belt goes around, it's absolutely silentThat would've been a whole lot easier than mine.. mine was a true diy . Lol . But I dont think it'll last .
wow x2

I got the pinned belt (green) in case the glued belt didn't last, so far, the green belt still sits in a draw after its initial trial here. I glued the blue belt on 18 Dec 16
Those blue and green belts aren't leather .......Shoe Goo is the best for leather belting.
Yuppers, that little knob on the bottom makes that lathe more valuable and more betterer !!@Moparmyway .I was wrong . This one has the power cross slide on it.
