I intended to do a detailed thread on the 572, and the 462......but lost all the picture I had for both of them.

Then......I decided that doing threads was a pain in the ass.

Size like Mine or Yours?

Ran my 572 for the first time today. I was impressed how it ran for being on its first tank of fuel and only being muffler modded. Smooth is the best word I can use. Seems like the soft limit is 13200 and it did continue to climb to 13400. One thing that stood out to me was how light the side cover was. Good? Bad? Not sure. Also with the stock spikes the muffler rubs. But that’s not a big deal since it has the extra support built into the muffler.

14.4k? Wow that’s real good for pretty much stock! Wonder if the 565 has a lower rev limit?

No way the 462 is nose heavy with the 20" light bar on it, but I'm sure it would be very nose heavy with a standard ES bar, I can't stand them on the 362 either, just ruins the balance of the saws. The ES bars feel fine on 460s, but that is because the power head is so much heavier.

No matter what you run, the correct components are important.

Yeah, prices are varying widely it seems. I was quoted 1,000 locally.
