I picked up a 026 parts saw that has to be the last of the series. It has a 44mm bore, white tank vent, plastic handle, and S shaped 260 fuel line. I've never seen that fuel line on a saw with screw caps before. Best of all, it still has the serial no. sticker on the front of the case. How many...

I'm rebuilding a Stihl 026. It has new crank bearings and the crank is true. The nearly new oem clutch drum has about a 1/8" of runout from side to side. Has anyone else seen this? Or have I just never noticed it before?

It's only about making the tank hole larger to fit the line, but what's the best way. You can't get a drill bit in there straight. Anyone ever done it? The reason I'm asking is that the 260 line seems to drop into the tank further, allowing more run time.

I've been looking at 260, 44.7mm pistons for a few weeks. I keep seeing " supposed" oem's pop up really cheap without the pin or clips. Tonight I saw a new "oem"one with black rings. That screams China, to me. Any Stihl dealers here have a explanation how they could sell legit looking pistons...

I bought this 362 straight gassed back in 2011. It was in like new shape with just the normal scuffs, so I added a new OEM cylinder and piston. I have way too many 60cc saws, so it's had very little use. $525 shipped PHO in the 48. If you need a bar/chain we can work something out.

I'm building a white box cylinder kit I got from HL, on sale. Squish w/o the gasket is around .028-.030. I checked a oem cylinder, piston, with gasket and got about .021-.025. I just wanted to verify if these numbers seem accurate to anyone that's tried one. Please don't think I'm complaining...
