Just claiming the title. It will be the slowest build thread in history. Feel free to chime in with anything. Oils and ratios are preferred.

Back to my lack of build thread. I've encountered basically the same problems as everyone else.
I put the cases together with the installed seals. If they leak I'll go oem. The crank and bearings seem fine.
The chain adjuster may last or not. Lots of grease and tinkering required.
My Cross cylinder looks really nice. I just cleaned up the ports and chamfered them good.
The fuel line in my tank was not installed correctly. It would have leaked bad. The hole needed deburred before even trying to install a oem.
That's where I'm at for now.

That's awesome, want to trade? It really makes you wonder if some little kid with a hand drill is making this stuff.

My favorite stumping bar now on my 590.
You gonna pull a pin and one ring it or get another.

I'm just going to put a oem in that I had on hand for now to get it running. It's not a build off saw so, I don't need no stinking rules.
I will be keeping a close eye it on though. I'd hate to ruin the piston.

You're thread you're rule's lol
What are you going to use the saw for.
I just have the little 365s i built up but i have run the first one hard this summer.
Fun cheap saw's and mine have been reliable after tossing the crappy fuel lines.
For echo line.

These kit saws are just for me to play with. I've got a building full of real saws and a few Huskys too. Lol
I'd like to try the 365 after I get the 440 and 660 done. I've never worked on Huskys much.

Same here i have plenty of brand saw's i ended up with a bunch of 372 part's.
And builder's are stupid high around here .
Cheaper for two new china saw's as one clapped out logger saw.
These are fun i'm just a firewooder
And they have been great all summer.
I've cut a lot of dead ash mainly.
Might get a 660 to mill with.

The 660 cylinders worry me. Mine looks great, but there's been several with the plating coming off. My original plan was to run the oem piston. Then after seeing the failures, I thought I'll try the one in the kit first just to be safe. Then that took a wrong turn.

If this Cross shows issues, I'll just look for a used oem cylinder and wait for something else to blow. Lol.
