I've worked on a bunch of these things...Figured it was time to build one completely myself...It has been a journey with some setbacks but so far I'm happy with the way it turned out...Still have some tuning to do but it's running ok

Cole sent this brand new 6400 to be hacked apart for a play saw earlier this spring...As I get extremely busy during the paving season he has been very patient.i finally was able to finish the saw and get some testing done....I should have cut a couple loads of firewood with it before I tore it...
Work has been so busy this season....I started this pipe in may and just finally got it done...Tested it tonight just before dark to see how it goes....Seems OK....Now with the paving season winding down I have to catch up on some saws for other people that have been waiting patiently...
So a few months ago steve at the cutting edge sent me a almost new dolmar 9010 for me too play with...he said i could do whatever i wanted with her. I was gonna just give a port job and send it too work.but when i pulled her top off and discovered she had a 42mm stroke it made me think....i know...
I ported a 372 about a year ago...he has been using it for work almost everyday until a week ago it quit on him....he shipped the saw back to me and I found the lower connecting rod bearing decided to weld itself to the crank. So we were wondering if anyone has had any bad luck with...
So I've been wanting to try a 7900 for a new five cube stock appearing saw. These are not very common in my area but I've run some damn strong ones at gtgs.i received a care package a few days before christmas from the boys at the cutting edge with enough scrap iron in it to put a saw together...
I broke a flywheel on my 084 race saw and dave just happened to have one...well I found it in the mailbox tonight along with a couple of gifts...thank you dave!!!
Stopped at the thru way plaza for coffee....saw a man and woman wearing sav-edge tshirts...asked them if they were coming from boonville and if they had a couple of boxes of double bevel files with them....turns out the man was Russ whyde the owner of save-edge....we had quite a chat for about...
I'm working on a project and can't seem to pump enough fuel...do you get a stronger impulse signal from the crankcase /transfer tunnels on the cyl...or from the intake manifold?...currently I'm tapped into the intake but I think I will get a stronger signal if I tap into the side of the cyl
