Stopped at the thru way plaza for coffee....saw a man and woman wearing sav-edge tshirts...asked them if they were coming from boonville and if they had a couple of boxes of double bevel files with them....turns out the man was Russ whyde the owner of save-edge....we had quite a chat for about 20 min they are very nice people and learned a few things

One of the things he told me was to save my old files....they can ReSharpen them for 4 dollars apiece if I mail them back...if they can't ReSharpen them to specs they will send a brand new one in its place...oh and chainsaw files are a small percentage of their market....the equine industry is their main market...ie hoof rasps

Russ hand delivered files to me on Friday. He stopped in today to discuss their files and was looking for feedback/ideas about their product.

I've talked with him on the phone a few times and they are very good to work with.

Mrs. Beagle uses them there hoof rasps on her hay burners. That little woman does a great job and couple files here and there beats the *s-word out of paying a Farrier.
