I had a genuine Oregon explode...never a China rim. Installed lots of China rims too...no issues.

Where do you think Oregon --> Blount Industries makes the rims?

Same I'd run them not worth the hassle.
I had a different problem the
100ft of different size tygon
I bought year's ago stamped tygon.
Wasn't tygon it melted in week's.
I returned it
But the rims have been fine.

My only gripe is, IF I wanted the cheap chinese rims I could have bought them. But I thought I was getting the next step up, being Genuine Oregon rims. A little bit more money for a better product.
That's what I am trying to convey.
I still say these are cheap Chinese clones..

I can't remember, but I thought I ordered an Oregon 8t and received an Archer 9t once. They sent the 8t free later.

Those are not genuine Oregon Rims.


Usually the Stihl rims are made by Oregon in Portland. But the Stihl one in your picture I don't believe is.

The .404-8 is older stock. But the .404-7 is new inventory. Look at that rim closely vs the Stihl rim.
