2188 is one saw I lower even more. I've found them to really like intake.
You build high rpm saws, makes sense.

If it holds more rpm under load than you have more torque, if it lays down as soon as you use any pressure, that's different. Now with the stock 88 carb more intake will likely do you some good, something bigger not so much IMHO.[emoji111]
Brad would build it bigger for more HP and improve the intake to handle the bigger carb imo.

You can lead a cull to water but you cant make him drink...
JB might work fine until it doesnt. And it probably cost more when you figure price per unit.
I know for a fact JB is very brittle and Devcon is not because I have used them alot in industry. Belzona makes good products also.
As for sucking bits of epoxy through a motor. JB weld wont do the piston and rings any favors.
And it won't hurt a damn thing. I know first hand, you don't we gathered. I have lost JB many times in the transfers and the intake track of old Gilardoni jugs with chrome in the eights on 50cc two strokes. It hurts nothing just disappears and leaves dust behind even with added 25% nitro. Liquid steel wasted the chrome and the piston when it came out. Devcon aluminum is best but if you loose it you loose the motor. I found out nothing sticks to chrome or fresh cast aluminum the hard way. Steve can transfer this thread to JB worship land and you can stfu, please, sir. Rant done.
So grown men are being nasty to each other because they prefer different epoxies. [emoji23][emoji23]
Ok guys let's put this to rest please.[emoji111][emoji111]
No. Just a few children types today.
I have not. I asked a local tree guy for a log and he brought me about 18"-24" piece, lol.
Now that's fun lol. Carry on Freddie :p

Very impressive throttle response, not to mention cutting speed. Holds some rpms. Curious if Stihl has another injected model planned. Replacements for the 362 or 662 perhaps? Maybe Hoosky has an efi model in the works?

880i would be nice

I really want to see the throttle body opened up a little bit to see what that does.
Is it smaller than the intake boot? I haven't looked.

That might start messing with the EFI though. MTronic 261s will barely even run without the divider in the carb.

Not sure, I am just going by the images that have been posted. Usually the internal size has to be smaller than the boot but not sure. I cant find the pics anymore. They were in one of these 500i threads.
