I noticed the serial # of the introduction 572 is the #6 unit built in the 22week of 2017.
Interesting direction Husqvarna chose, now I see where the extra weight came from in the bottom end. Will definitely have durability for a 70cc saw.
The saw already has the platform to add more cc displacement. Kinda like the ways of Dolmar, Poulan....
I'm thinking max bar length recommendations would be in the 32"+ range. Not bad for a 70cc seeing even the 562 is rated for 28".

This 572 would fit in real nice with steep terrain 2nd growth PNW timber falling.

Max bar length is listed at 28", same as 562. However oil pump capacity is 15ml/min for 562 and 22ml/min for 572, both at 9000 rpm. For what it's worth a 390 oils (max) at 24ml/min.
In the video it appears to balance with a 24" rsn bar (guessing), about the same way a 562 balances with an 18"-20". Hopefully the av isn't any softer than the 372, and it won't totally suck with a longer bar.

Actually the 562 is long and narrow with good leverage to handle a 28" b/c.
562 total length is longer then a 272XP when I once compared the two.
I got a 18" Cannon Super Mini on my 562XP.

A 1500 dollar 70cc saw is...ridiculous. That's a wild price
Wonder if that is "List" or actual ?...I havnt seen a price for the UK yet .

Conversion for price to US Dollar... $1545.76

You could buy a 395XP for that much, but this kind of saw might out cut a stock one.

No doubt the old legendary 372 has finally met its match. It will be replaced by what will be the best 70cc class saw. Full circle crank, some port work, and a muffler mod, these things will scream...
your guys has far lower prices compared to European list prices, you can except it will be the same with 572 XP also.

1319€ is the list price in Europe, it may be the Swish price as well. Ain't a country in Europe who has the same price, now and then them Sweedes drive over the border and buy Huskies in Norway.

Tell you what intrigues me...there still doing a 65 along with a 72 saw. With the 562 in the line up you have the cross over to match ..562-365-372.
The 365 is a bit of a puzzle to me, but yet we see a new 565 wth the 572. Did anyone else hear someone say ...." The 565 may be better suited to longer bars due to its Torque" ?? 555 and 365 was overlooked " to a degree" So more on the 565 and the idea in keeping the inbetweener saw?
I hazard a guess the 562 is "Ouda Here " in the form we know it after seeing all the design changes made to produce robustness that we see on this new saw..bearing size and crank being something not able to be retro fitted.

It does make you wonder if they could drop another cylinder on that chassis and have an 80cc model that could fit inbetween this new 572 and the larger 90cc class saw that is in the works. All just speculation at this point.

More interesting and more real time is how the 565 is going to run and how will it be priced. Very little has been said about it so far. If it follows the recent pattern set by the 555/562, we might see the junior model have performance that is close to the outgoing XP model.

I should also mention that the new chain may be available in the US this fall. It is already on the agenda to be introduced at this fall's meetings.

Simon; no way the 562 chassis goes away. Weight difference between the 60 and 70 cc chassis is too great. It would be a repeat of the 362XP.

My guess is that we will see some updates to both the 562 and 550 chassis. Most importantly in my mind the heat barrier, followed by the air filter sealing and quicker AT.

For sure "In the form we know them" the 550 560/562 wont be around but not dropped as a cc /chassis group.
They must have thought through the reasoning in getting a 572 over a 565 or there sales would suffer so im thinking there is logic behind it all.
Walt must be "Droooooling " at the prospect of another sort of inbetweener ! son of 555 kinda thing , the firewood cutters champ ? :D

I agree that the 562 is here to stay with some improvements as stated. I would imagine once the 572 is established and hopefully proven reliable we'll see the next size up 5 series in less time then the 572 took to debut. With this big bottom end I also wonder if a bigger cylinder is going to be the course of action for this chassis. Maybe a 588:). Doubtful, but ya never know what marketing strategy they'll employ.

No way the 562 chassis will go away, its lighter and has a superb AV.
Husky will never sacrifice a good 60cc class after their 362 disaster.
562 with 550 is the existing models I expect to see serious updates on.

565 will fit in well, its probleby more ment for a marked where people can't pay premium price for an XP saw.
Except costs for crank stuffers its just as expensive to produce as an 572xp is, but thats how Husky always do, one saw for the pro's and one cheaper semi pro saw.
I kinda doubt 565 will come in 2 versions, G and non G, they didnt with the 545/555.

I agree Tor. The 365/565 has merit for the semi pro that wants to save a couple hundred bucks. The market must be strong for them otherwise I doubt momma husky would've bothered de-tuning a 572. What's your opinion on the 365/565 market Bob?

first semi pro saw in the XP era that I remember is 42 Special year 92.
Didnt go long before they introduced the semi pro 257 in the 254/262xp class.

How much the semi pros sell?, it depend alot.
My main Husky dealer who is a real country side dealer, over 50% of his sale is 550xpg.
A JRed city dealer told me that he had only sold 3 CS2253WH since 2012, he sold quite often the semi model 2252.

Truth is that it's usually not a semi pro customer that buys them in my store. I sell a fair amount of 365's and 2166's to loggers, tree guys, and firewood sellers. Their view is that they are practically the same as the 72's, and they don't feel that much difference between them, so why not save $100 and get the junior model.
