I'm just curious, what feels different about it? I have a 272 but have never run the 266.

It just seems more nimble , I like it hands down over a 272. I think it's better balanced. The 272's sit on the shelf most of the time.

Some people say they got the horse power rating wrong on the 266,it does seem stronger than 4.5 h.p.

266xp has a 50 mm piston as does the 268 Xp they both have the same stroke 272xp has a 52 mm piston and same stroke as the 266,268.

I finally ponied up and just ordered a brand new PS-6100 from Nate (@fordf150)! I am like a kid before Christmas, can't wait for it to come in... Out of what I own my 262XP, my 562 runs good, and the AV is WAAAYYYYYYYY better, but the 262 is just a nice saw. That I would like to have a JRed 2260 AWOL.
